A long sleeved red linen kirtle! Yay! This is early 15th century, though it really works for most late 14th - early 15th c stuff. I actually made this with the intention of using it solely as an underdress for two future gown projects. However, I have already worn it alone once. In this photo, I am also wearing velvet tippets and a linen veil.

Thank you so much! Haha, I try to be accurate! Sometimes there are liberties I have to take because I live in warm weather in southern California, but it's all about knowing where to deviate (like single layer linen instead of bulky warm stuff!) and where to stay true (like the whole look and the patterning and finishing).
