I am making a dress now and looking for tips to ensure the sleeves stay up, and shoulder *straps, fit. My husband ordered me the Reconstructing History Early 16th century German Saxon CRANACH gown. I am making low collar version; I do like the close together lace, and the wide black bodice version you made. The Autumn colors are great too.
Great costume! I really love the hat!
This is completely adorable!!
Your work is amazing! I hope I can sew as well as you do someday!
Lovely! Kampfrau dresses are amazing.
i love this quite a lot. the colors, the styles, and yes of course the hat speaks to my german heritage

Heh, neat! Never seen a 16th cent. German clothes -- all you see is the typical German beer girl outfit
No wonder you're happy with this. It's wonderful! I love the colors and it's just a fun dress!
a beautiful costume!
Very nice! It's spelt "Landsknecht" though.
Thanks! Back when I posted this, I was new to DA and did not know how to edit a submission. I've always spelled it Landsknecht on my website (which I had linked in the description) but obviously typoed on the title here! I just realized when going back through my old deviations.
A Landschnect dress is a great idea. It's really cute!
Lovely dress! And I like the photo, too. Your pose shows off the costume without being stiff.
This is great! The style is so different from the 16th century clothing I'm familiar with! I really like it.
