Burgundian by DaisyViktoria Burgundian by DaisyViktoria
This is my 15th century Burgundian gown, constructed sometime around early 2007. The dress is made of velvet with faux fur trim, and it's worn over a kirtle made of light green linen. The henin (hat) was the most fun!

Amazing! Do you have an exact time frame for this style? Also does it have an exact name? I''m sorry if I'm bothering you but I've been looking for this kind of pattern. The ones I've seen were either inaccurate or from the wrong century (incorrect labeling).

I only wanted to know if you knew of any similar patterns that I could use to get the same effect. It's hard for me to find good commercial patterns and the online ones are out of my budget. I'm sorry for any confusion.

I drafted my pattern from scratch! I can make custom patterns on commission, but it would be more expensive than a commercial pattern. All the good commercial ones I know of sound like the ones you said are out of your budget.

THIS IS AMAZING! The first thing I designed looked something like this. I mean it was from the same peariod, green, and had fur trim. You are unbelievably talented. The headress is perfect. The dress is perfect. You are great.

Nice use of colors, I think green and brown are great together. Also, I like the photo. You look like a princess waiting for her knight :P
