Hello! I am a fashion and costume designer, mad scientist, and faerie. I love designing and creating corsets and gowns. I have been sewing most of my life, and I love what I do! I have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, and I have a thoughtful problem solving approach to all things creative and artistic as well. Some of my favorite style influences are fairytales and mythology, nature, folk lore and legends, and couture fashion.

Hi everyone! I've now created two tutorials for DIY cloth face masks.
The most recent one is the easiest! No pattern required, no elastic, just fabric ties! This is what I've been using to sew large batches.
I created this one earlier, using two patterns made by cosplay friends. You can also adapt this to include ties if you are facing the current elastic shortage.

How I Made My Weirwood Tree Gown

I've always been terrible at blogging, and it seems vlogging is more suited to my style. I'll also be posting a tutorial for the headpiece soon.
